Day Five (some days are couch days)

Waiting for J. or B. to come downstairs
Must be in middle of pathway for maximum attention


Taking a quick nap
Waiting is exhausting

Now situating self in front of door
Like to keep track of J.'s and B.'s entrances and exits



Wondering why J's hand is going for a glass, not my green ribbon or a few pets


Monitoring J. as she exits door
She must have her own neighborhood monitoring to do



Getting sleepy



Turned around on couch


Back at base of stairs
Must be in B.'s way when he comes downstairs


Blockade unsuccessful
Trotting after B.



Making rounds around den


A few more rounds


And back to couch time
(Several hours of turning around on couch)


End of day, no more battery in camera
Not concerned because have found a new bag


A new bag, green ribbon, and a big end to a small day
